Park In-bee wins LPGA tour [2015/04/03 09:27]

Korean golf *heroine Park In-bee won an LPGA Tour in Singapore in early March.

The world’s No. 2 female golfer is engaged in a three-way *battle for the top spot on the world rankings.

Park recorded a 15-under 273, while Lydia Ko finished two shots back in second place and Stacy Lewis finished third.

Ko and Lewis are the world’s No. 1 and No. 3 female golfers, *respectively.

Park took home $210,000 in prize money, placing herself on the third on the money list, according to Yonhap.

With the win, Park *picked up her 13th career LPGA Tour victory.

Park was born in South Korea in 1988. She stands 1.68 meters tall and weighs 65 kilograms. From April 2013 to June 2014, she was the top ranker in the women’s world golf rankings, after which she was *overtaken by Lydia Ko. During the 2013 season, she had three *consecutive major wins, becoming the fourth LPGA Tour player to do so in one calendar year. She is also the youngest player to win the U.S. Women’s Open.
